Spot Account
The Spot wallet is your main balance area for everyday crypto usage inside ProGold. It is the place where you hold assets, prepare funds for trading, and manage asset movements such as deposits and transfers. Most users interact with the Spot wallet first because it contains the balances used for standard buy/sell trading (Asset/Agent) and acts as the “default” account for holding tokens.
On the Spot wallet page, you will see a list of coins you own (for example: OZ, RED, GMYD, etc.) and a clear breakdown of how much is currently available for use, and how much is temporarily locked. This page is designed to answer one question quickly: “How much of each coin do I have, and what can I do with it right now?”
What you can do with the Spot wallet
In general, the Spot wallet is used for:
- Holding assets you have purchased or received
- Trading on Asset/Agent (Spot trading) using your Spot balances
- Depositing funds into your account (adding assets)
- Transferring assets to other destinations (external or supported transfer flows)
- Internal transferring between ProGold accounts (Spot ↔ Futures ↔ Earn, etc., depending on enabled features)
- Using C2C flows
- Tracking activity history for each coin and your overall transfer records
Because Spot is the most “general-purpose” wallet, many features connect to it directly.
Practical tips
- Before placing a large order, check the Spot wallet Available balance to avoid “insufficient balance” errors.
- If you use limit orders often, it’s normal to see part of your balance in In order.
- Use Internal Transfer instead of external transfer when you only need to move funds within ProGold (it’s usually faster).
- When depositing, always ensure the correct coin and network are used (if your deposit flow shows networks).
Common user questions (and where to look)
“Why can’t I withdraw/transfer my coin?”
Check:
- Available balance vs In order
- If “In order” is not zero, you likely have open orders or locked funds
- Go to Open Orders (Asset/Agent) or related order areas and cancel or complete the process
“My total balance is high, but available is low. Is that a bug?”
Usually not. It means funds are locked in In order. Confirm by checking:
- Open orders
- Recent trade activity
- Any active C2C flow
“How do I unlock funds?”
Typically:
- Cancel the open order (if you don’t need it)
- Wait for the order to fill
- Complete/cancel the related flow (C2C or other lock-based process)
When unlocked, the amount moves from In order → Available balance.
